How You can make Con Folders?

Create Con Folder:

we can not create con folder simply why?
and we can create con folder by some hacking why?
give me a solution of this

yeh we can from cmd prompt

goto command prompt
type in prompt e:\> "mkdir \\.\e:\con"
verify by typing "dir \\.\e:\con"
delete the file or folder "rmdir \\.\e:\con"

(if u want to create a folder name con in E: drive)

it s a reserved word for "console" so yoc cant create, but as above mentioned way you can by cmd prompt. you also cant create followings.
AUX,PRN,CON,AUX1 etc

follow this    

d:\ md con\.\

for deletion

d:\rd con\.\

hello try this create a new folder > press space > Keep press ALT & type 0160,

hit enter.

now u can give any name to it, what ever it may be.

create a folder by name con in ur mobile and copy it to the comp simple....

the names which cannot be created are

CON, PRN, AUX, CLOCK$, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, and LPT9.
