Step 1:- If you previously used any Kaspersky product on your computer, then must download and run Kaspersky removal tool and completely clean your machine from kaspersky product.

Step 2:- Now go to asus kaspersky page, download Kaspersky 2013 and extract it to desktop.

Step 3:- Go into the extracted folder, and right-click on kavkis.msi, and click on extract here, This will extract a single cbi.dll file, copy and cut this file.

Step 4:- Now you have to manually create Kaspersky antivirus directory, So go to C:\program files\ and create a folder with name Kaspersky Lab. Go into that folder and create another folder called Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 and Paste the cbi.dll file into the Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 folder.

The directory structure will look like this for 32-bit system,

C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013

or for 64-bit system:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013

Step 5:- Now you need to create another directory structure, like step 4,

For Windows Vista, 7 and 8:-

C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP13\Data

For Windows XP :-

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kaspersky Lab\AVP13\Data

Step 6:- Go back to extracted folder(step 3), and double-click on Kavkis.cab file and inside it you will find a file name _1AA7CD13.key and copy and paste this license file into the data folder created from step 5.

Step 7:- Now download Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 setup installer from this link ( http://www.kaspersky.com/anti-virus-latest-versions) and installed it on your desktop. To activate license you don’t have to do anything, Kaspersky automatically activate the key. Make sure you have internet access during the process.
